Terms of use
Striders: Run & Train · last updated 22 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Striders (published by Sumrain Technologies) for using the Striders app. By creating an account you accept them. If you don't, please don't use the app.
Your account
You must be at least 13 years old. Keep your login to yourself and give us accurate details. Club organisers approve new members and may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms.
Zero tolerance for objectionable content
Striders is a friendly club. You may not post, comment or message anything that is harassing, hateful, sexual, violent, threatening, illegal, spam, or that shares someone else's private information. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.
- Every post, comment and member can be reported in the app (the … menu or a member's profile). Organisers review reports within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these terms and remove the member who posted it.
- You can block any member; you will no longer see their posts or comments.
Your content
You own what you post. You let us show it to other approved members inside the app so the club feed works. You can delete your posts, or your whole account in Profile → Settings → Delete account.
Running is at your own risk
Paces, plans and coaching in the app are guidance, not medical advice. Check with a doctor before starting training, run within your limits and follow traffic rules. Striders is not liable for injury or loss during runs or club events, to the extent the law allows.
The app
We provide the app as is and may change or stop features. We may update these terms; if a change is significant we'll tell you in the app. Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and have no responsibility for the app or its content.
